I like to call this “The Good Ol’ Days”
THIS moment. J.K. Rowling herself CHOSE to write Hermione beaming at Harry with tears in her eyes. She could have easily written Hermione beaming at anyone else that was sitting nearby. J.K. also could have left that little piece out all together. It was her choice while writing. But, no. Instead, J.K. Rowling wanted to write that Hermione, in the excitement of it all, beamed at Harry, teary eyed, during the wedding vows.
Ladies and gentlemen let us just talk about how IMPORTANT this is. In a freaking WEDDING, the person Hermione chose to beam at was HARRY, not Ron, when in fact Ron could have been sitting right next to Harry. Is it not in every romance flick with a cheesy wedding that the girl ALWAYS looks at the guy she wants to be with. She chose this exact idyllic moment to look at HARRY. That should account for something. It’s like telling him, “This. This is what we want us to be.”
